📞 Scammers are smart! They may present you with knowledge of your personal information in order to gain your trust. Again, always hang up and call the utility directly to verify the validity of the call.

📞 Scammers will forcefully demand payment immediately and threaten actions, such as disconnection of service. Don't fall for this trick! Never give anyone your personal financial information over the phone.

💻 Scammers also operate through email. Although Dixie Electric sends automated disconnect notices by phone and email, you will always be directed to our website or payment portal to update your account.
