The Power to Empower

Dixie Electric continually looks for opportunities to empower the communities it serves. Each year, Dixie Electric has a calendar full of outreach opportunities, including Community Day of Service, blood drives, Foster Backpage program, Charity Golf Tournament, Stuff a Bucket Truck program, Read Across America Day, Electrical Safety programs, nonperishable food drives, Energy Fairs and Touch-A-Truck events, to name a few. Dixie Electric lives out the seventh Cooperative Principle, Concern for Community, and wants to be more than a local utility company; they want to be a cornerstone in their community.
