Payments
Payments are delinquent 10 days after the billing date. If a member carries a balance forward, that amount is due by the date and time indicated on the bill card. If the balance forward is not paid by that date, the total amount of the bill is delinquent and if not paid, the member will be disconnected.
Minimum Bill
Residential customers are charged $12.00, plus any electricity used.
Points of Delivery
(a) The point of delivery is the point as designated by the Association on the consumer’s premises where current is to be delivered to a building or premises. All wiring and equipment, other than metering equipment beyond the point of delivery, shall be installed and maintained by the consumer.
(b) This point also tracks the amount of electricity being used on the premises.

Billing Schedule
Dixie Electric Power Association billing system is processed by the account numbers. Each account number contains 10 digits. By looking at the first two numbers of your account number will help you understand the billing schedule. The scheduling is shown below:

Where to pay a Dixie EPA bill
Cash or checks are accepted at all Dixie Electric Power Association locations. The Office hours for Dixie Electric Power Association are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. We have someone on duty during these hours. A bill payment may be mailed in, received over the counter, or left in the drop box. A drive up window is avaliable during office hours. You must have a bill card in order to use the drive up window. Our email address is dixieelectric@dixieepa.com for any questions on payments.

We offer bank drafting as a payment method for our members. Click here to open and print our authorization form.
Budget Billing
A service for DEPA members is budget billing. The amount you pay each month is based on your 12 month average electric usage keeping your monthly payment amount approximately the same from month to month.
Tips to remember from Dixie Electric
- Include your bill card with your payment
- Write your account number on your check.
- Have the meter accessible for the meter reader. Please keep shrubs, fences, etc. clear of the meter.
- If you lock the gate to your property, please notify Dixie Electric. Dixie will provide a lock for accessibility. This is useful for the servicemen during power outages and the meter reader.
- If you call the office for account information, have your account number available.
- Bring identification, such as a social security card and driver's license, when applying for service. If you don't have a driver's license, please bring your birthcertificate, a W-2 form or an insurance card. Two forms of identification are necessary.
- Residents of Forrest and Covington counties need a Flood Plain Permit from their respective county.
- Before applying for service, contact the E-911 coordinator in your county to establish your 911 address.
