How to read your bill
The following information will help you better understand your bill card. If you are confused about any of the information, ask a cashier the next time you are in the office or call.
Left Side of Card
Service Address Physical address of the account or the old account number
Consumption The dates in which this billing occured
# Days Number of days included in this billing
Avg. kWh/Days Average energy use per day at this account
Avg./Day Last Year Amount of energy used during this period of time last year
Previous Meter reading from last billing
Present Meter reading for this billing
Mult. Used in conjunction with meter readings to figure energy use on some types of meters
kWh Difference in the previous and current readings equal the amount of the kWh used during a billing cycle
Amount Lists the amount of energy cost plus any other item charged such as security lights
CR Credit on account
Date of Bill Designated billing date for your area
Current Bill Total amount due from this billing cycle
Balance Forward Amount due from a previous billing cycle and the date the amount must be paid.
Account Number Identification number. Please write your account number on your check
Right Side of Bill Card
Account Number Please include your account number on your check
Balance Forward Amount due from previous billing
Current Bill Amount due from this billing cycle
Total Due Amount due including all charges
Amount Paid Amount of payment for this billing cycle
